We were coming back from a visit to the island of Bornholm. We had spent the last five days showing Canadian cousins the wonders and charms of the "Sunshine Island" and we were now looking forward to showing them the "Wonderful City of Copenhagen". We stayed at this hotel last year, with good results and so had decided to stay here again. It seems that the hotel has undergone a name change since then, but as it turned out, it still was a good choice. The great feature of this hotel is, of course the location, you get on right at the airport and disembark only three minutes later at the Femoren station. You should buy a metro pass at the airport if you are thinking of staying for a few days. It will save you money, and you will have unlimited access to the transit system while you are here. The hotel is a short distance away from the centre of town. We usually get off at the Kongens Nytorv Metro station and start our exploring from there. A good place to begin is at the Magasin du Nord and from there, proceed down to what is referred to, as the Stroget. This will get you into the heart of the shopping area and also, within walking distance of many historic sights. Some of the sights that we hoped to show the cousins were, the Marmor Kirke, Christianborg Slot, Rundetaarn, Vor Frue Kirke, (Copenagen's Cathedral), Rosenborg Slot, Amalienborg, and a little further on, the iconic, "lille Havfrue". This list will only get you started. As for hotel, it is a complete facility, offering you a fitness centre, pool, saunas, etc. the rooms are nicely equipped, not large, but comfortable. Free wifi is available through out the facility. The delicious breakfast buffet is included in the hotel rate, and is kept very well supplied with ample and varied items. They start serving at 6:00 am. Free parking, if needed, is available close by. There is a Netto grocery store across the street, if you want to catch an easy lunch or supper. This option might sound pretty good, as you are only a short walk away from enjoying it at Amager Strand. The hotel and its location, does offer itself to being a very practical place to call it your base, while in Copenhagen. .

Convenient for the Airport.

Formally known as the Park Inn by Radisson( they haven’t changed the name Really convenient just 2 stops on the metro from the airport. A modern hotel with very Scandinavian feel. My room (640) was small but functional. However being on the 6th floor the showers water pressure was awful and in effect not working. The restaurant is expensive €70 for 1 beer, a hotel burger and shrimp salad to start. I would recommend but just for the convenience to the airport as it offers good value.

Great hotel, a couple of minutes on the metro from the airport, only three minute walk from the metro station, there is a Netto shop opposite which is handy for a few bits. (snacks, drinks etc) The reception team were very helpful and it was a very easy process. Rooms basic but clean, bathroom with toiletries supplied. Breakfast included in our rate, plenty of choice, great staff keeping everywhere clean. Nice products on offer. Will definitely be back and hopefully next time in the warmer weather.

I use this hotel for 1 night as part of a tour. I was in room 354. The room was clean and spacious enough for me. Bed was comfortable. The window overlooked a train stop, so if the window was open it was a bit noisy. The breakfast buffet was great, both US and European style foods.

The hotel is rather dirty, smelling bathroom with very low water pressure. Upon arrival, the room was not prepared for us, very cheeky and unwilling receptionist. The only good thing was the location of the hotel.
